Heavy duty safes of Australian design and manufacture, utilising some of the modern techniques and materials recently developed in security technology. The design features and defensive materials used result in a safe giving a high level of resistance to cutting instruments, explosives and force, and pneumatic and hydraulic tools. Both the body and door of the safe are resistant to attack with oxy-acetylene.The CMI Safe Co. has been designing, manufacturing and servicing safes throughout Australia for over 50 years. The body gives a minimum thickness of 75 mm of high-density refractory materials at all points. These materials are bonded between inner & outer walls of specially reinforced steel, becoming a complete monolith after pouring. The engagement of the door and body effectively result in a continuos cube of exceptional strength and security. DOOR:
The door of the Premier safe has an overall thickness of 135 mm and the 55 mm thick defensive slab section contains metals highly resistant to drills and abrasive grinders in addition to the high-strength poured barrier materials and other defenses.
The lock case forms an integral part of the entire door structure, giving additional strength. INSURANCE COVER:
A conservative suggested risk rating for Premier Range safes overnight holding of cash and valuables would be $35,000 in an unsupported situation. LOCKING:
One million variations are available on the three wheel high quality combination lock. Changes to the combination are easily made by "Premier" Safe owners.
A special glass-activated re-locking device and mechanical re-lockers are provided within the door. A six lever keylock is fitted as standard equipment. Each lock can be used independently from the other. BOLT WORK:
Heavy 25 mm dia. bolts of high grade steel provide two-way locking into the specially strengthened lock chamber sections at front and rear edges of the door. BOLT-DOWN FACILITY:

Insurance Cover: Insurance surveyors have suggested $80,000.00 as a realistic rating for overnight holding of valuables by the Commander Safe in an unsupported situation DOOR:
The door of the Commander T.D.R. safe has an overall thickness of 180mm. Importantly the defensive slab section of the door is 100mm thick and contains an alloy which has a proven record of outstanding resistance to all forms of attack mentioned above, especially oxy-acetylene. LOCKING:
A high quality combination lock with 100,000,000 variations is supplied. Changes to the combination are easily made by Commander safe owners. A special glass-activated re locking device and mechanical re lockers are provided within the door. A six-level key lock is also fitted as standard equipment. Each lock can be used independently from the other. Any chosen electronic or duress alarm system can be added to the safe if required. BOLT WORK:
Heavy 32mm dia. bolts provide four-way locking into reinforced sections of the two sides, top and bottom of the safe body and extra protection against lateral attack is included. BOLT-DOWN FACILITY:
Two recessed bolt down holes are provided in the base of the safe to allow secure anchoring to any type of floor. INTERNAL FITTINGS:
Two half-width drawers locking under a fixed shelf are supplied at the base of the safe with two adjustable shelves on tracking above. FIRE RESISTANCE:
